The Odivelas ( Portuguese Ribeira de Odivelas ) is a river in the Alentejo region of Portugal that flows through the districts of Évora , Beja and Setúbal . It rises a few kilometers southwest of the municipality of Monte do Trigo , flows in a westerly direction and finally flows into the Sado .
The Odivelas is dammed into reservoirs by the Alvito and Odivelas dams.
