Ofer Lellouche
Ofer Lellouche (* 1947 in Tunis , Tunisia ) is an Israeli painter , graphic artist , sculptor and video artist who was born in Tunisia.
life and work
Lellouche studied in Paris from 1963 to 1966 and dropped out two months before graduating to go to Kibbutz Yehiam in Israel . After his military service, he studied painting from 1969 to 1971 at the Avni Institute of Art and Design and French literature at Tel Aviv University . Then worked in the studio of the sculptor César Baldaccini in Paris while he continued to study literature.
Then take self-portraits as videos and later of landscapes. In 1987 his work Figure in a Landscape was exhibited at the São Paulo Biennale . In the 1990s he mainly worked on graphic and sculptural works.
He lives and works alternately in Tel Aviv and Paris.
