The Yeollin-minju party ( Korean : 열린 민주당 , transliteration : Yeollin-minju-dang , translated directly into German : Open Democratic Party ) is a social liberal party in South Korea . It was founded in the run-up to the parliamentary elections in South Korea in 2020 and is considered a satellite party of the Deobureo-minju party, even if it doesn't see itself that way. Numerous politicians and activists who did not get a place on the DMP candidate lists joined the YMP.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic in South Korea , the party plans to provide 500,000 won ( $ 408 ) to every citizen over the age of 18 .
