The Barnaveddoge Oghamstein is located in the townland of the same name ( Irish Barr na bhFeadóg ) north of the R170 road between Ardee and Dunleer , in County Louth in Ireland .

The Oghamstein was dated by Sabine Ziegler 400-500 n. Chr.. It is cylindrical in profile and measures 2.59 m in height, 1.2 m in width, 0.9 m in depth and is made of sandstone . The inscription consists of a single name: "Branogeni".

500 m to the northeast is a 3.1 m high, 1.94 m wide and 1.17 m thick menhir in a depression. It tapers towards the top and is shaped like a spear. The southwest side has small grooves that look like stones in County Carlow ; like Ardristan I and Glenoge . Nearby is the Hurlstone .
