Oksana Petrivna Prodan ( Ukrainian Оксана Петрівна Про́дан , born April 16, 1974 in Chernivtsi , Chernivtsi Oblast , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian entrepreneur and politician of the Bloc Petro Poroshenko party .

Oksana Petrivna Prodan was born on April 16, 1974 in Chernivtsi. In 1996 she graduated from the National Jurij Fedkowytsch University of Chernivtsi with a degree in foreign trade . From 1996 to 2001 she worked as a legal advisor and economist at the JSC Ukrtrans-Chernivtsi freight transport company . In 2000 she completed her auditing studies at the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Auditing in Kiev and was officially licensed as a chartered accountant . In 2002 she completed her law studies at the University of Chernivtsi. From 2004 she was the deputy director of the Ukrtrans-Chernivtsi company .

In 2005 she was appointed vice-chairman of the Council on Foreign Economic Activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. From June 2008 to May 2010 she was the Chair of the Council of Entrepreneurs in the Cabinet of Ministers. From May 2010 to December 2011 she was the chairman of the Committee for Entrepreneur Protection, which was founded by representatives of the BJuT .

In the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in 2012 , Prodan was in fourth place on the list of the UDAR party and was elected as a member of the Verkhovna Rada . There she was appointed head of the parliamentary committee for taxation and customs. In October 2013, Prodan was interviewed by the Investigative Department of the Kiev Police as a witness investigating possible falsification of the text of the draft law on the Tax Code .

In the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in 2014 , Prodan was in 15th place on the list for the Petro Poroshenko party .

Prodan is married and has two daughters.
