Carlos Olaf Heredia Orozco (born October 19, 1957 in Apatzingán , Michoacán ) is a former Mexican football goalkeeper .

Heredia began his professional career in 1978/79 in the service of the UNAM Pumas , for whom he worked until 1984 and with whom he became Mexican champion in 1981. In 1984 he moved to the UANL Tigres , for which he was under contract until 1987. He then played every three years for Morelia and Cruz Azul , before moving to Santos Laguna in 1993 , with whom he won another league title in 1996 before ending his active career at the end of the 1996/97 season.

National team

Between 1983 and 1986 Heredia played a total of 18 times for the Mexican national football team. He made his international debut in an eleven-minute short stint on October 25, 1983 against El Salvador (5-0), his last international match he completed on April 27, 1986 against Canada (3-0) over the full distance. He was also part of the World Cup squad of the Mexicans at the 1986 World Cup in their own country, but was not used there.
