Olav Kornelius Kjelbotn (born October 5, 1898 in Fosnes , † May 17, 1966 in Namsos ) was a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Kjelbotn, who started for the Namsos IL, became the Norwegian champion over 30 km in 1924 . In 1926 he won the 50 km run at the Holmenkollen Ski Festival and won the bronze medal over 50 km at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti . He also achieved seventh place over 30 km there. He completed his last international race in 1928 at the Olympic Winter Games in St. Moritz . He came in fourth place over 50 km.
