Olavi Rinteenpää
Olavi Rinteenpää ( Olavi Osvald Rinteenpää; born September 24, 1924 in Helsinki ) is a former Finnish obstacle runner .
Over 3000 m obstacle he was fourth at the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 and won silver at the European Athletics Championships in 1954 in Basel. At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 he was eliminated in the preliminary stages, and at the 1958 European Championship in Stockholm he was ninth.
He was Finnish champion five times (1952-1954, 1956, 1958). He set his personal best of 8: 44.4 minutes on July 2, 1953 in Helsinki .
