Oldřich Rott (born May 26, 1951 in Opočno ) is a former Czech football player and current association official.

Career

Rott began playing football in Třebechovice pod Orebem , in 1966 he moved to Spartak Hradec Králové . With Hradec Králové, the midfielder rose in 1972 in the first Czechoslovak league. The midfielder moved to Dukla Prague in the summer of 1973 , where he played for a total of ten years. He won the Czechoslovak Championship in 1977, 1979 and 1982, and the Czechoslovak Cup in 1981 and 1983.

In the 1983/84 season he played in Cyprus for EPA Larnaka , in the 1984/85 season he was under contract with Slavia Prague .

Furthermore, he won the gold medal with the Czechoslovak soccer team at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow by defeating the GDR 1-0 in the final.

Rott also took part in the 1980 European Football Championship in Italy , where the Czechoslovaks won the bronze medal. In total, he played three times for Czechoslovakia.

Functionary career
