Old Trafford (settlement)
Old Trafford is an area of Stretford in Greater Manchester , England , immediately southwest of Manchester city center . The intersection of the two old locations outline the boundaries of the region.
Old Trafford is the location of two major sports venues; Old Trafford Football Stadium and Old Trafford Cricket Ground (home of Manchester United and Lancashire County Cricket Club ). The stadiums are at either end of Warwick Road, two parts of which are called Brian Statham Way (formerly Warwick Road ) and Sir Matt Busby Way (formerly Warwick Road North ). The interconnected road will be called Warwick Road and the southern section on the other side of the Metrolink line is called Warwick Road South.
