Oldroyd Island is a small island off the Ingrid Christensen coast of Princess Elisabeth Land, East Antarctica . It is located 300 m northwest of Magnetic Island across the Vestfold Mountains
Norwegian cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs from the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 . Participants in an Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions campaign from 1957 to 1958 re-mapped. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Keith C. Oldroyd, a weather observer at Davis Station in 1960.
