Ole-Marius Bach (born May 7, 1988 ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Bach reached his first podium in the Scandinavian Cup in December 2008 with second place over 30 km freestyle in the Lygna Skisenter . He made his debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in November 2009 over 15 km freestyle in Beitostølen , where he finished 96th. In January 2010, Bach became world champion in sprint at the U23 world championships in Hinterzarten and won the silver medal in skiathlon . Bach won his first World Cup points in March 2010 at the 50 km freestyle mass start race on Holmenkollen in Oslo , which he finished in 24th place. At the subsequent World Cup final in Falun , he finished 23rd on the penultimate stage, which was held as a skiathlon, achieved the 17th best running time on the final stage and finished the race in 21st place overall. Bach achieved his best placement in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup in the 2010/11 season with seventh place. In 2012 and 2013 he was the Norwegian champion with the Byåsen IL relay .
