Oleg Gerasimovič Peresypkin ( Russian Олег Герасимович Пересыпкин , scientific transliteration Oleg Gerasimovič Peresypkin ; born August 12, 1935 in Baku , Azerbaijani SSR ) is a Soviet and Russian diplomat.

Oleg Gerasimowitsch Peressypkin graduated from the Moscow State Institute for International Relations in 1959. Oleg Peressypkin has been a Scientiae Doctor (D. Sc.) And professor since 1981.

From 1980 to 1984 he was the Soviet Ambassador to the Yemeni Arab Republic , from 1984 to 1986 Ambassador to Libya , from 1986 to 1993 he held the post of Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Soviet Union (later the Russian Federation) .

From 1996 to 1999 Peressypkin was the Russian ambassador to Lebanon .

Peressypkin has been a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR since 1982 . Peressypkin is the chairman of the Russian Society for Friendship, Business and Cultural Participation with Lebanon. From 1989 to 2001 Peressypkin headed the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society.

Oleg Peressypkin believes that no mass murder was committed in the course of the 2011 uprising in Libya and that there were no acts of war against the people .
