Oleg Moldovan (born October 27, 1966 in Chișinău , Moldovan SSR ) is a former Moldovan sports shooter .

successes

Oleg Moldovan, who was active for Dynamo Chișinău, took part in four Olympic Games . In 1988 in Seoul , starting for the Soviet Union, he finished 14th in the competition on the running target over 50 m. His second participation, which took place for the first time for Moldova at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta , he finished ninth on the running target over 10 m and thus narrowly missed the final. In 2000 in Sydney he finally qualified with 580 points for the final round, in which he scored another 101.0 points. With a total of 681.0 points, he only had to admit defeat to Yang Ling, who was 0.1 points better , and thus received the silver medal. At his fourth and last Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 , where he was the flag bearer of the Moldovan delegation at the opening ceremony, he reached 14th place, as in 1988.
