Olga Dugina

Olga Dugina (born September 5, 1964 in Moscow ) is a Russian illustrator.

She is the daughter of the journalist Valentin Kotikov, who died in 2002, and the textile designer Elena Silina Kotikova. Olga received her education from 1978 to 1981 at the Krasnopresnenskaya Art School in Moscow and from 1984 to 1988 at the Moscow Art College. In 1984 she married Andrej Dugin and came to Stuttgart with him in 1989 . Both live and work here as graphic designers and illustrators.

Olga Dugina was inspired for her illustrations by Persian miniatures from the 15th and 16th centuries and from the Mughal Empire . Since 2002 she has been teaching at the Free Art School in Stuttgart .

In 2002 and 2003 she and her husband worked on the film (Warner Bros.) Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban (directed by Alfonso Cuaron ).
