Olga Anatoljewna Subowa ( Russian Ольга Анатольевна Зубова ; born December 9, 1993 in Gai ) is a Russian weightlifter . In 2012 she became European champion in the weight class up to 75 kg.

Career

Olga Subowa started lifting weights as a teenager together with her sister Maria, who was two years older than her, in Klin . She has been a student at a university in Moscow since 2012.

She made her first appearance at an international championship in 2009, when she was used at the Junior World Championship (U17) in Chiang Mai / Thailand at the age of fifteen and a half. She won there in the weight class up to 69 kg. Their duel performance was 217 kg (96–121). In the same year it was used by the Russian Weightlifting Association at the Junior World Championships for the U 20 age group in Bucharest. She achieved in Bucharest in a duel 218 kg (98-120) and won the bronze medal.

In 2010 she competed at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. In the weight class over 63 kg body weight, she weighed 71.39 kg, she succeeded there in front of the Thai Chitchanok Pulsabsakul , who weighed 118 kg. Their performance in a duel was 251 kg (112-139). The Thai woman reached 251 kg (115-136). As a reward for this excellent performance, she was allowed to compete for the Russian Weightlifting Association in September 2010 at the Women's World Championships in Antalya. In June 2011, Olga Subowa became Junior World Champion in the U 20 age group in Penang. Her performance in the weight class up to 75 kg was 268 kg (118–150), ahead of Anna Nurmuchambetowa from Kazakhstan, who weighed 257 kg (115–142 ) came, won. In September 2011 she was also Junior European Champion in the same weight class in Bucharest. She was able to take it easy and still won with 238 kg (103-135) superior to Ganna Kozenko from the Ukraine, who finished 2nd with 221 kg (100-121).

In 2012 and 2013, Olga Subowa was used at five international championships, but not yet at the Olympic Games in London. She won all five. In April 2012 she was in Antalya with her first start in the senior class European champion in the weight class up to 75 kg with 265 kg (115-150) before Lidia Valentín from Spain, who came to 260 kg (117-143). A month later she became Junior World Champion in Antigua in the same weight class. It reached her in the duel 260 kg (115-145) to victory before her compatriot Maria Harlowa, who came to 228 kg (103-125). In November 2012 she started at the Universities World Championship in Eilat. She was able to take it easy there and was the superior winner with a duel of 241 kg (106-135).

In July 2013 she won the Universiade in Kazan in the weight class up to 75 kg body weight. She increased in the duel to 279 kg (120-159), with which she won in front of her experienced compatriot Nadeschda Evstjuchina , who came to 278 kg (123-155). In October 2013, Olga Subowa started at the World Championships in Wrocław. She achieved there in the weight class up to 75 kg in a duel 282 kg (125-157), with which she won ahead of Nadezhda Yevstyukhina, 277 kg (120-157) and Kang Yue , China, 276 kg (126-150). However, the examination of the doping sample taken from her at this world championship showed that she was doped with Clomiphene. The international weightlifting world federation IWF therefore revoked the world championship duel and the world championship in pushing and the world championship silver medal in snatch. It was also blocked from October 25, 2013 to October 25, 2015.
