Lidia Valentín
Lidia Valentín Perez (born February 10, 1985 in Ponferrada ) is a Spanish weightlifter .
Career
In the category to 75 kg won Valentin at the Olympic Games 2008 silver, 2012 gold and 2016 bronze. She won bronze at world championships in 2013 and gold in 2017 . In 2014 , 2015 , 2017 and 2018 she became European champion. In 2008 , 2012 and 2013 she won silver at the European Championships and bronze in 2009 and 2011 .
Originally in fourth place, Valentín moved up as Olympic champion in 2012 after the third-placed Belarusian Irina Kulescha , the first-placed Kazakh Svetlana Podobedova and the second-placed Russian Natalja Sabolotnaja were convicted of doping.
