Johannes Friedrich Emde

Johannes Friedrich Emde (born February 17, 1806 in Mühlhausen ; † January 18, 1882 there ) was a German farmer and politician .

Life

Emde was the son of the farmer Johannes Emde and his wife Anna Marie Christine Liane nee Kiepe. He married Marie Christiane Meister on May 6, 1827 in Mühlhausen . The son Eduard Emde , who was also to become a member of the state parliament, emerged from the marriage .

Emde was a farmer in Mühlhausen. From 1854 to 1872 he was mayor of Mühlhausen. From 1855 to 1872 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont . He was elected in the constituency of Eisenberg .
