Olganos
Olganos ( Greek Ὄλγανος ) in ancient times, the name of a river and in the Greek mythology of the eponymous river god.
According to Ailios Herodianos and Stephanos of Byzantium, Olganos was the eldest son of Beres and the brother of Mieza and Beroia , after whom the ancient cities of Mieza ( Naoussa ) and Beroia ( Veria ) were named.
An inscribed bust of Olganos from the 2nd century AD has been found in Kopanos and is now exhibited in the Archaeological Museum in Veria , Greece .
