Olivaer tablature

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Oliva tablature is a collection of 329 instrumental and vocal compositions in the “New German” style from the library of the Cistercian monastery in Oliva . The tablature was probably created around 1619. It is also called the " Braunsberger tablature".

The compositions are attributed to Petrus Drusiński , organist from Danzig and Elbląg , probably a pupil of Antonius Scandellus , as well as Andreas Hakenberger and Diomedes Cato .
