Oliver Bücher (born May 6, 1961 ) is a former German professional footballer.
career
The goalkeeping talent books was brought from the youth of Fortuna Düsseldorf to the professional squad in 1979 by the former Fortune coach Hans-Dieterippenhauer . There he had to deal with strong competition, among others with Jörg Daniel , so that he only had a reserve role at first. Nevertheless, Bücher came to two league appearances in his first season as a professional player. In the 1981/82 season , Bücher delivered a bitter duel with Horst Dreher for the regular position in the Düsseldorfer Tor. Books made 19 appearances and was "number one" under coach Jörg Berger from matchday 20. In the following year, however, he lost this position again and brought it only to a league use. He then switched to the amateur field. From 1983 to 1985 he played for Olympia Bocholt in the Oberliga Nordrhein.
