Oliver Gensch (born February 17, 1969 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Gensch played for the amateur team of FC Bayern Munich from 1988 to 1989 before he was signed by Bundesliga club Fortuna Düsseldorf . In the 1989/90 season , however, he did not play a league game, but played the second round game in the DFB Cup on September 24, 1989 , which was won 4-0 against 1. FC Saarbrücken in the Rheinstadion .

In the second half of the season he was on loan from SpVgg Unterhaching, which played a league lower , and played eleven point games in a row. He made his second division debut on February 24, 1990 (24th matchday) in a 3-2 win at home against Alemannia Aachen from the start. His first of two goals he scored on March 17, 1990 (27th matchday) in the 2: 3 defeat in the away game against SC Fortuna Köln with the goal to 1: 2 in the 36th minute.

He then moved to Belgium and ended his footballing career after only one season for the second division club RC Mechelen .
