Oliver Heilmeyer

Oliver Heilmeyer (born June 6, 1964 in Zurich ) is a Swiss- born chef .

Career

After training at the Hotel Sonnenhof in Königstein im Taunus and a few subsequent positions in upscale gastronomy, Heilmeyer set up his own business in 1991 by leasing the Kurhaus Restaurant Schwarzwaldstube in Schluchsee . Further stations were the Frankfurter Hof in Frankfurt am Main in 1986 , in 1989 he went to the Nassauer Hof to Harald Schmitt in Wiesbaden and in 1990 to the Alte Oper Zauberflöte , also in Frankfurt.

Since 1991 he has been chef de cuisine and in 1997 he is the gastronomic director of the Hotel Zur Bleiche in Burg (Spreewald) , where his restaurant 17fuffzig has been awarded a Michelin star since 2007 . Heilmeyer left the Hotel Zur Bleiche in October 2016 .

Then he cooked in the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Schluchsee .
