Oliver Krause

Oliver Krause (born June 5, 1976 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German basketball referee .

Life

Krause studied after school in his hometown Halle jurisprudence and laid during his studies to spend a year at the Università degli Studi di Siena in Italy one. In September 2004 he was admitted as a lawyer . In September 2007 he was awarded the title of specialist lawyer for medical law and in January 2009 for tax law.

As a basketball referee, Krause was promoted by Siegfried Käsebier , he began his career as a referee at the age of 15. He was referee in the basketball league and from 2004 also for the world association FIBA . The FIBA ​​used him, among other things, at European championship games and in the European Cup. Between June 2000 and February 2007 Krause held the post of referee at the Basketball Association of Saxony-Anhalt .
