Oliver Lowin

Oliver Lowin (born May 16, 1974 in Recklinghausen ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 2007 to 2008 he was a member of the Lower Saxony State Parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from the Willy-Brandt-Gymnasium in Oer-Erkenschwick and completing community service, Lowin studied law with a focus on economics at the University of Osnabrück . He passed the second state examination in 2002. After working for a municipal energy supplier, Lowin moved to LexisNexis Deutschland GmbH as a lecturer and product manager .

politics

Lowin has been a member of the SPD since 1992. He was a member of the district executive committee of the SPD Weser-Ems and deputy chairman of the SPD Osnabrück. From 2001 to 2006 he was a member of the Osnabrück City Council . For professional reasons, he no longer ran for political honorary office in 2006, but in June 2007 he replaced the Bentheim MP Dieter Steinecke in the state parliament, to which he was a member until the state elections in February 2008.
