Oliver Madas
Oliver Madas (born November 3, 1979 in Vienna ) is an Austrian drummer with the Vienna Philharmonic , composer and professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna .
Live and act
Madas graduated from the Vienna Music High School in 1999 . He studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna until 2003. He then worked at the Vienna Volksoper and since 2003 in the orchestra of the Vienna State Opera until he joined the Vienna Philharmonic in 2006. Since 2008 he has held a professorship for percussion instruments in music education at the University of Music and Performing Arts. Madas composed numerous works for various solo instruments, chamber music formations and orchestras. The CD proposal of the ensemble The Rhythmania Artists contains works by Madas only.
