Oliver Momm is a North Rhine-Westphalian producer and remixer . His company is called Oliver Momm Productions with his own studio in Beckum .

Musical activity

Oliver Momm has been a DJ since 1984 and a producer and remixer since 1988, mainly in techno and house music. He has been composing his own tracks under various aliases since the early 1990s, and he has also made a name for himself as a remixer. His best-known participation in a music project was the United Deejays For Central America project, initiated in autumn 1998 , where he composed the song "Too Much Rain" with 21 other well-known scene musicians.

Oliver Momm Mixes

In the North Rhine-Westphalian region, he became known for his megamixes. These were broadcast once a month on the radio station HR3 and EinsLive . On EinsLive in the show EinsLive Party Service with Piet Blank . In December 2004, the program was taken out of the program, which is why the Oliver-Momm-Mixes were then broadcast in the new program Kruising . In 2006 Oliver announced the collaboration with EinsLive. He currently works for Antenne Bayern and Hit Radio FFH. He mixes his mix blocks for these stations.

Oliver Momm Digimix

The Digimixe were broadcast by HR3 from the beginning of 1996. The mix included current dance and club tracks, primarily house, trance and techno. Also were singled out hip-hop and rap mixed. A digimix from April 2004 contained a mix of Mayday anthems by the Members of Mayday from previous years including the anthem 'Team X-Treme'. This mix was later expanded by Oliver and released on CD by the Low Spirit label.

Oliver Momm party mix

Oliver Momm Partymix is ​​the monthly mix that was played for one hour on EinsLive at the end of the month (except December) and differed slightly from the digimixes, which were often a little longer. The first party mixes were created for EinsLive at the beginning of 1998, the officially last party mix was the one from November 2006. The digi and party mixes were sometimes just called "Oliver Momm Mix".

Oliver Momm Gigamix

A gigamix contains an average of 70 to 80 songs, some of which are also a cappella . These mixes are annual mixes and were broadcast at the end of each year between 1995 and 2005. According to Oliver Momm, a Gigamix takes three to four weeks of working time.

Oliver Momm special mixes

  • MOM Megamix , prepared by Oliver Momm for the tenth anniversary of Mayday in 2001 as a Megamix with Mayday hymns. This mix was also on a Members of Mayday anniversary CD.
  • Sash! Hitmix or Oliver Momm's Hitmix V 3.0 , created in 2004 for the best-of album by the Nettetaler DJ and remixer Sash! . This mix contains all of the Sash! Hits released up to then.
  • Depeche Mode Hitmix , created in 2006 as a one-hour megamix. This only included the original versions of the Depeche Mode hits.
Oliver Momm Mix Blocks

From 2005 to 2019 Oliver Momm produced so-called “Mix-Blocks” for the radio station Antenne Bayern , in which he mixed well-known hits from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. They are broadcast on Antenne Bayern in the program “Saturday-Evening-Hit-Mix”. The mix blocks were later broadcast by Hit Radio FFH and Radio Brocken.
