Oliver Tanzer (* 1967 in Linz ) is an Austrian journalist. He is deputy editor-in-chief of Furche and responsible for foreign policy and economics.

Tanzer worked as an editor for Standard and Profil . For many years he was a correspondent for ORF in Brussels . In 2004 he became the press spokesman for Foreign Minister Ursula Plassnik , which he remained until 2005. In 2006 he was involved in the launch of the daily newspaper Austria , where he stayed until 2008 when he switched to Furche as editor.

Tanzer also appeared as a non-fiction author, u. a. together with Josef Taus ( redistribution. Ideas for the future of the economy and the financial system , 2011) and Tomáš Sedláček ( Lilith and the demons of capital. The economy on Freud's couch , 2015).
