Olivier Carré

Olivier Carré (born March 16, 1961 in Orléans ) is a French politician . He has been a member of the National Assembly since 2007 .

Carré graduated with a DEA in finance and then worked as an asset manager. In 2001 he was elected first deputy mayor of Orléans. In the parliamentary elections in 2007 he ran for the UMP in the first constituency of the Loiret department and entered the National Assembly. In 2009 he rose to the senior level of the UMP and has been a national secretary of the party since 2011. He was re-elected as a member of parliament in 2012.
