Olivier Hinnekens

Olivier Hinnekens (born September 14, 1969 in Leuven , Belgium ) is a Belgian politician and policy advisor for the Christian Democratic Party in the Flemish Parliament . From 2011 to 2014 he was one of the vice-presidents of the European Movement International .

Life

He began his European career in 1989 with the Young European Federalists (JEF). From 1997 to 1999 he worked for the Union of European Federalists in Brussels . Between 1998 and 2005 he was Vice President of the European Movement Belgium and has been its President since 2014. At the congress of the European Movement in Warsaw in November 2011 he was elected one of the vice-presidents of the European Movement International , since 2014 he has been an ordinary member of the EMI board.
