Olly Heidenreich (born February 23, 1899 in Vienna ; † 1945 ) was an Austrian theater actress.

Life

Olga Helene Heidenreich, who later called herself Olly, was the daughter of the doctor and theater director Johannes Richard Heidenreich and Marie Helene Rößler. She had a brother named Johannes Heidenreich who became a répétiteur at the State Opera. In 1929 she married the opera singer Adolf Harbich .

From 1925 to 1927 she had an engagement at the United City Theater Nuremberg-Fürth , after which she was employed at the State Theater Wiesbaden until 1936 . Because of her Jewish origins, she was dismissed on August 1, 1936 and excluded from the Reich Theater Chamber . While her brother committed suicide after his release from the State Opera, Olly Heidenreich succeeded in convincing the responsible authorities that she owed her existence to a misstep by her mother with an "Aryan". She received a new certificate of parentage in 1939. She did not have any theater appearances until 1944. In 1945 she died.
