The Olsen Rock is a cliff rock off the western end of South Georgia . It is located 800 m southeast of Cape Parjadin .
Scientists from the UK Discovery Investigations mapped it between 1926 and 1927. The South Georgia Survey carried out surveys during its 1951-1957 campaign. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1958 after Søren Olsen (1890 – unknown), harpooner of the South Georgia Whaling Company in Leith Harbor (1926–1930, 1933–1939 and 1945–1953).
