Olswang was an international law firm headquartered in London . The firm employed around 350 lawyers in eight locations. Around 40 lawyers (as of 2011) work at the two German offices in Berlin (since 2007) and Munich (since 2011). The law firm was represented in six jurisdictions. The corporate form of the company was that of a limited liability partnership .

Olswang was founded in 1981 by Simon Olswang and Mark Devereux, today's senior partner of the firm, in London. The law firm initially primarily advised film and media companies.

During the 1990s, Olswang grew and expanded his advisory fields to include real estate law, litigation and corporate law , thus becoming a fully active commercial law firm. Olswang in Germany was founded in Berlin in 2007, and a second office with a team specializing in IP law opened in Munich in 2011.

In 2017, Olswang merged with the law firm CMS Cameron McKenna and the law firm Nabarro to form CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang . Due to legal peculiarities, the German office of the law firm, Olswang Germany LLP, remained and operates as a subsidiary of CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP Sigle .
