Olympic riding stadium
The term Olympic riding arena is used to describe stadiums for equestrian events that take place as part of the Summer Olympics . These can be permanent (i.e. intended for subsequent use) or only be built as a temporary stadium , as was the case, for example, with the Olympic riding stadium for the 2012 Summer Games in London.
Examples of Olympic equestrian stadiums are:
- Olympia-Reiterstadion Berlin (built for the 1936 Summer Olympics)
- Reitstadion Riem (Reitstadion Olympic Summer Games 1972)
- Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Center (2004 Summer Olympics equestrian stadium)
