Omar Arellano Riverón (born June 18, 1987 in Guadalajara , Jalisco ) is a Mexican football player on the position of the striker .

Career

Arellano began his professional career in the summer of 2004 with CF Pachuca , in whose ranks he made his debut in the Mexican Primera División on October 24, 2004 in a game against Club America and with whom he was twice Mexican champion.

From 2007 to 2013 he was under contract with his hometown club Chivas Guadalajara and moved to CF Monterrey before the 2013/14 season .

Omar Arellano Riverón is the son of Omar Arellano Nuño , who was part of the Chivas Guadalajara championship team in the 1986/87 season. He is also the grandson of Raúl Arellano Vásquez , a regular player in the best Chivas team of all time, with whom he won six championship honors between 1957 and 1964.
