Ombo is an island in the Boknafjord in the Norwegian province ( Fylke ) Rogaland .

Ombo is known for a rock in the shape of a nose, often referred to as "King Ombo" or "Ombogubben / Adam". Until the end of 2019, half of the island belonged to the territory of the two municipalities of Hjelmeland and Finnøy , but since then it has belonged entirely to Stavanger .
