The Omega-naka Iwa ( transcription from Japanese オ メ ガ 中 岩 'Middle Omega Rock' ) is a rock formation on the Crown Prince Olav Coast in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It rises in the center of Cape Omega .
Japanese scientists examined it and named it in 1977.
