ω 2 Cygni (omega 2 Cygni) is a 500 light years from the sun distant double star in the constellation Schwan , consisting of a +5.44 m bright main star of spectral M2 and +6.6 m bright star of spectral accompanying A0. The companion star is at a position angle of 265 degrees 256 " from the main star. He can have the small prism binoculars are seen or opera glasses. Because (Red main star and blue companion) is the color contrast ω 2  Cygni a nice object for amateur astronomers . The star is also as Rukbat / Ruchbah / Ruchba ( Arabic ركبة, DMG Rukbah  'knee').
