Omid Ashari

Omid Aschari (born November 19, 1971 ) is an Austrian economist and university lecturer . He is program director of Management - Master's program at the University of St. Gallen .

biography

Omid Aschari studied business administration at the University of Linz . There he also received his doctorate . His doctoral supervisor was Gerhard Reber . Aschari earned an MBA from the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management in Claremont, California . In 2003, he accepted a call to the University of St. Gallen to establish a Master in Strategy and International Management (SIM-HSG). As the director responsible for the program since it was founded, Aschari was able to achieve first place with the SIM in the global ranking of the Financial Times for nine years in a row. Since October 2013 he has been Professor of Strategic Management at the University of St. Gallen.

Omid Aschari is married and has three children.
