ο Ursae Majoris (Omicron Ursae Majoris) is a star in the constellation Great Bear . It belongs to the spectral class G4, has an apparent brightness of 3.4 mag and is about 180 light years away.

It is also called Muscida (also Muskida, "the dog's snout"), a name that is sometimes assigned to the nearby stars 3 Ursae Majoris and 4 Ursae Majoris .
