Onchocerca tubingensis ( Greek όγκος . "Barbs" gr κέρκος "tail"; Latin tubingensis "from Tübingen ") is the name of the filaria belonging nematode . It is an endo parasite of the red deer ( Cervus elaphus ) and related to the Onchocerca volvulus, which causes river blindness in humans.
