Ondřej Kacetl (born October 15, 1990 ) is a Czech ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with HC Dynamo Pardubice from the Czech Extraliga since May 2017 , after being on loan at Dynamo in the 2016/17 season.

Career

Kacetl started his career at Orli Znojmo , where he went through all age groups of the juniors and was able to establish himself in the U20 team of the club in 2007 together with Michael Panec . From the 2009/10 season he was the first goalkeeper and also came to appearances in the club's senior team, which was active in the Czech first division . He celebrated a great personal success in a preparatory game against the first division club HC Sparta Prague , where he was able to secure the narrow 2-1 victory of his club with just one goal. Another highlight followed a year later, when he won the championship with the U20 team and at the same time relegated Luboš Horčička , the senior goalkeeper, to the second rank. With a catch rate of almost 94 percent and a goal against goals of 1.98, Kacetl was one of the key players in the playoffs, although he could not prevent elimination in the quarter-finals.

In 2011, Kacetl was appointed as a regular goalkeeper in the A-team, which also completed its first season in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga . Here he formed a duo with Filip Landsman of the same age .

Kacetl played for Mountfield HK between 2013 and 2017 , but was also regularly used in the second Czech division. In November 2016 he was loaned to HC Dynamo Pardubice before moving permanently to Pardubice for the following season.
