onde (German: Wellen ) is an Italian-language culture magazine of the German-Italian student initiative Onde e. V.

It is published twice a year and deals with Italian-related and classical cultural topics through literature , art , film and music as well as topics from Italian politics , society and economy. Onde also organizes reader competitions.

The majority of the articles are written in Italian. Vocabulary aids for difficult and unusual words are attached to each article to make it easier to understand the text. The articles are provided with different levels of difficulty in order to promote the learning of the foreign language at different levels.

According to the publisher's own statement, the print run is 1,500 copies.

In September 2016, the German-Italian Culture Prize of the Association of German-Italian Societies (VDIG) was awarded onde. The VDIG awards this award to individuals or associations who make outstanding contributions to international understanding and international cultural relations.
