Ondolf Rojahn

Ondolf Rojahn (* 1944 in Wabnitz ) is a German lawyer and was a judge at the Federal Administrative Court .

Life

Rojahn did his law studies in Tübingen , Berlin and Hamburg . In the summer semester of 1963 he became a member of the AV Igel Tübingen student association . He received his doctorate in 1972 from the University of Kiel and passed the second state examination in 1973 . In 1974 Rojahn earned a master's degree in law from Harvard University .

Following this, Rojahn worked for seven years at the Institute for International Affairs at the University of Hamburg before he was appointed judge at the Hamburg Administrative Court in 1981 . This was followed in 1986 by his appointment as judge at the Hamburg Higher Administrative Court .

Finally, in January 1992, Rojahn was appointed judge at the Federal Administrative Court. Here he was initially assigned to the 5th Revision Senate, which was responsible for welfare law including the asylum seeker benefit law, for severely disabled people, for maternity protection law and for youth welfare and youth protection law, but in January 1997 he moved to the 4th Revision Senate, which was responsible for building and building land law, the law on spatial Development , the planning law and the road and right of way and falls since 1 January 2003 the right of the installation and operation of airports. In July 2006, Rojahn was also appointed deputy chairman of this Senate. At the end of February 28, 2009, Rojahn retired.

Ondolf Rojahn has been an honorary professor at the University of Leipzig since October 1999 .
