One Droopy Knight is a 1957 American animated short film directed by Michael Lah .
action
A city in the Middle Ages is threatened by a dangerous dragon that lives in a cave near the castle. The king offers his daughter's hand to the one who can defeat the dragon. Two knights report : Sir Droopalot and Sir Butchalot. Both venture to the dragon's cave, but are treated and defeated by the dragon time and again like toys, especially since Droopalot's sword is bent like rubber at the dragon's snout and is therefore not a serious weapon.
While Butchalot runs away at some point, Droopalot doesn't give up, he loves the princess very much. When all attempts to defeat the dragon fail, Droopalot holds the portrait of the princess in his arms, weeping. The dragon appears, draws a beard on the princess, and starts laughing. Droopalot gets angry and beats the dragon ko He receives the hand of the princess, which he tells the story of the victory over the dragon. This in turn now lives tame in the castle as a cigar lighter.
