One Man Army is the second albumby alternative rock band Kassidy from Glasgow , Scotland . It was released on April 27, 2012. It combines several tracks by the quartet, all of whom wrote the songs themselves and this time they have been reinforced by the drummer Kieran Logan .

reception

The Guardian notes on their second CD that there is a resemblance to the music of Crosby, Stills and Nash , but their music consists more of a softened guitar sound.

On their second album, they certainly fall back on derivative harmonic techniques - any resemblance to Crosby, Stills & Nash is, presumably, intentional - and aim for a sweetly emollient guitar sound rather than originality.

Allmusic notes that the songs develop their refrains and great splendor, such as B. in "The Hunted" and "I cant fly". They would not only be bigger but also finer than the songs on the last Hope St. album .

With their big choruses and building grandeur, songs like "The Hunted" and "I Can't Fly" feel not only larger, but much more refined than the songs on the group's last album.
