The One MiMA Tower ( MiMA stands for Mi ddle of Ma nhattan) at 440 West 42nd Street is a skyscraper in New York City . Construction work on the skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan began in 2007 and was fully completed in late summer 2011. The building's height of 204 meters was reached in August 2010 in the shell. On the 55 floors there is a hotel in the lower area, while residential apartments have been built further up. The architecture firm Arquitectonia was responsible for planning the building. Initially, a height of 188 meters was planned, but this was increased to 204 meters in May 2010.

The entire skyscraper is built using reinforced concrete . The construction company in charge is Tishman Construction .
