Onnum Ridge is a mountain ridge in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the Britannia Range , it extends 5 km south of Derrick Peak in a northeastern direction to the McCraw Glacier .
A New Zealand team of geologists from the University of Waikato , who worked in the area between 1978 and 1979, made the designation. It is named after the ancient Roman equestrian fort Onnum in north-east England.
