The Opština Boljevac ( Cyrillic : Општина Бољевац , German : Municipality Boljevac ) is an Opština in the Okrug Zaječar in eastern Serbia . The administrative capital is the city of the same name Boljevac .

According to the 2002 census (self-denomination) there were 15,849 inhabitants in the Boljevac municipality. Most of them were Serbian Orthodox Serbs , followed by Roma and other small minorities.
