The Opština Sokobanja ( Cyrillic : Општина Сокобања , German : Municipality of Sokobanja ) is a municipality in the Okrug Zaječar in eastern Serbia . The administrative capital is the city of the same name, Sokobanja .

According to the 2002 census (self-nomination), there were 18,571 inhabitants in the municipality of Sokobanja. Most of them were Serbian Orthodox Serbs , followed by Roma and other small minorities.
